The improvements of the two manufacturing technology for carbide burs

2016/7/12

There are two kinds of manufacturing technique for tungsten carbide burs. One is hand rotary machine. The other is CNC equipment manufacturing.

Until about 10 years ago, most factories make the tungsten carbide burs depend on hand rotary machine. Because of the simple mechanical device, the parameters of carbide burs cannot meet some special requirements. And the precision of carbide burs is not so acceptable.

At that time, SYNDENT TOOLS knew clearly that CNC will become the best choices of production. This is a growing trend. So, SYNDENT TOOLS replaced the production line with CNC 10 years ago. That helped us to establish and widen the leading advantage than most of the other China manufacturer. That also make SYNDENT TOOLS become the top quality supplier of carbide burs.

With the rapid development of computer numerical control technology, CNC equipments were put into operation. And CNC replaced the hand rotary machine day by day. Any complicated cut style can be worked out by CNC 5 axis hands. And it is easy to meet the concrete cutting demands by grinding the end cut of carbide burs.

There are too much advantages of carbide burs manufactured by CNC equipment. The cut depth, cut width, much fine cut, the angle of cut, the rotary angle are all very steady. The carbide burs worked by hand machine are very cheap. But the balance is not good. The cut edge is easily broken. The cutter life is shorter. The sharpness is not so good as CNC method.

Syndent Tools strongly recommend customers to select carbide burs made by CNC machine not hand rotary equipment.
