In order to extend the life of carbide burrs, we must obey the following rules.
    1. Do not use new carbide burs for hardened metal.
    2. Do not use carbide burs for quenched material.
    3. The cast iron with hardback or sandburning must be ground by grinding wheels firstly. Then you can deburr the material with the carbide burs.
    4. For the new files, you should use one side. When this side was blunt, you can use the other side.
    5. When grinding, remember to clean the chips on the cutting teeth of carbide burs by the steel wire brush.
    6. Carbide burs can not placed one on the other. Meanwhile, carbide burs can not be piled up with other tools. That is helpful to protect the cutters of carbide burs.
    7. Do not use higher speed than reasonable speed. Otherwise, the carbide burs would be blunt very quickly.
    8. Carbide burs should be away from water, oil or other dirty matters.
