The improvements of the two manufacturing technology for carbide burs

There are two kinds of manufacturing technique for tungsten carbide burs. One is hand rotary machine. The other is CNC equipment manufacturing.

Until about 10 years ago, most factories make the tungsten carbide burs depend on hand rotary machine. Because of the simple mechanical device, the parameters of carbide burs cannot meet some special requirements. And the precision of carbide burs is not so acceptable.

The carbide burs worked by hand machine are very cheap. But the balance is not good. The cut edge is easily broken. The cutter life is shorter. The sharpness is not so good as CNC method.
